We regularly backup software and data and we store our backup CDs off-site.

              SO SHOULD YOU !!

Here are some tips

1-After you have made changes or entered  new data, ask your self, "Would I really want to have to do that OVER AGAIN?  If the  answer is NO, then BACKUP !! 

2-Use CD-Rs as opposed to CD-RWs if at all possible. 

3-Make sure you're backing up the Right Data. Check  'About Backups' under the 'Database Menu'. If you are still not sure, ask us.

4-If you are using CD-RWs or ZIP drives or Flash drives or any other Rewriteable media, never use the same physical media to make two backups in a row. Always Flip-Flop CD-RWs and other rewritable media. If you're not sure what this means, ask us.

5-Clearly label each backup and store it Off-site.

6-Whenever any software (not just ours) suggests that you Backup before proceeding, DO IT !! 

7-Do Full Backups of  YOUR AgriFair Folder, not just Incremental Backups. The extra 2 minutes per Backup is worth the hassle-free recovery if something really bad happens
